Renewal through NBCLC
At the invitation of the CBCI, he founded the National Biblical, Catechetical and Liturgical Centre in Bangalore on 6 February 1967 and directed it until 1982. He also began the journal “Word and Worship.” The centre became a meeting place for reflection, formation and the renewal of the Church in India.
In 1979 he was visiting professor in the University of Mysore's Chair in Christianity. In 1981 he founded its Department of Christian Studies, the first of its kind in India.
